Description :

Focus on creating KS2 Numeracy activities using BlackCat Activity Builder software.

Mary will share resources she has created this year. She will guide you using the software to create interactive activities that look every bit as professional as content you would buy.

Save yourself hours of preparation time by using the Activity Builders to create activities for all areas of maths including number, time, money, shape and space and much more.

All the activities you create can be brought back to school ready for your new class to use in September and throughout the school year. You will not believe how easy it is!

BRING ALONG A MEMORY STICK & ANY BOOKS YOU USE FOR NUMERACY IN SCHOOL

Aims :

The aim of this course is;

- To provide teachers with hands on experience in using the Activity Builders from BlackCat.
- To guide teachers in creating Interactive activities for use in their own classroom – electronic and paper-based resources.
- To provide dedicated time for teachers to create and share interactive resources.

Learning Outcomes :

Participants will:

- Be familiar with the software through the hands-on workshop.
- Explore links with the Revised Curriculum.
- Recognise opportunities for integrating the software into their teaching.
- Feel confident in using the software.

Target Group :

Teachers, Classroom Assistants and Educational professionals who wish to create resources for pupils

Presenter Bio :

I have worked with BlackCat software for 10 years ...delivering training. I ran several workshops in previous RTU Summer Schools which have been well received.
