You are here: Home > Prsd > Post Primary > Review Discussion
The review discussion is an extended interview between the reviewer(s) and the reviewee at or near the end of the review cycle. In the case of principal review , all reviewers, including the external adviser shall be present at the discussion.
At the review discussion they shall:
- Establish the reviewee's performance and identify any personal and professional development needs in relation to the agreed objectives.
- agree an action planand objectives for the following year. (PRSD Scheme)
Review Meeting
This is an important meetings since it is the culmination of the present review process and the beginning of the next one.
Again you need to plan carefully for this meeting. you will be having a conversation with your reviewer about how successful you have been in reaching your objectives set at the initial meeting. This will be based on the evidence you have provided and the two periods of classroom observation.
Following the outcome of this discussion you will agree your Review Statement including any support you may need and then set your new objectives for the following year.
To do this you may wish to revisit the "Writing Objectives" area of this website and use the support materials and information listed there.
