Are your pupils ready to learn? An experiment

Are your pupils as ready to learn as they could be? What could be done to improve this vital ingredient for educational success?

Ready to Learn? The Experiment is a major piece of education research designed to investigate the impact of factors such as diet, sleep, and exercise on children's readiness to learn.

The Experiment is open to all primary and secondary schools across the country and will run during National Science and Engineering Week from Monday, 10 March to Friday, 14 March.

It features:

A quick and engaging online school-based activity for four to 16-year-olds, featuring game-style tests of readiness to learn and a simple survey. Participating children, who will remain anonymous, will find out about their readiness to learn and get tips on how to improve it.

Teachers and schools will receive a fascinating insight into pupil's readiness to learn, and will be able to compare their own results with the national data.
