The Northern Ireland Languages Strategy is now going out for public consultation and the first phase of this is an online questionnaire for language stakeholders and members of the general public. The Strategy team links languages with intercultural skills and they hope to get as much feedback as possible from a variety of sectors. They look at languages in the broadest possible sense and the Strategy embraces languages for business, leisure and personal development; language learning at school and in higher education; English as an additional language; Irish and Ulster Scots; sign languages.
