The CRED (Community Relations Equality and Diversity) Policy aims to develop in young people knowledge and understanding of the challenges and opportunities they may encounter in an increasingly diverse contemporary society; and an understanding of their role in working for a more inclusive, just and democratic society where equality is fully accepted and discrimination actively discouraged.
The teaching of CRED provides opportunities across the curriculum for young people to discuss issues and links directly into the areas of PDMU, LLW and Citizenship.
This two day module will look at creative ways to support pupil engagement through Shared Education. Participants will have an opportunity to look at the use of Film and other innovative mediums to support pupil voice within their schools in order to address the key areas of CRED.
** Failure to attend once registered will result in a deduction in the partnership TPL allocation.
