The School Development Service's Emergent Leadership Programme is designed to support your personal and professional learning and to be a resource for leadership development. It is designed to stimulate reflection, dialogue, and future action by school leaders. The School Development Service is passionate in ensuring that we are able to sustain our current school leadership and develop leadership talent for the future.
Below are the 3 Cohorts for this year's Steps into Leadership Course, before making an application please make sure that you have obtained permission from your Principal and are 100% decided that this is the right course for you, please click on the following links Are you Ready? If you click on the cohort name you will be shown a new window with all the relevant dates and times. When you are ready to apply, click on the Apply Now button where you will be asked to complete a short application form. Once completed and submitted you will be sent a confirmation email of your place, we will email you all the final correspondance in the following week(s).
By completing your online application you have indicated to us that you have been given permission by your Principal to attend the Programme in full. The Steps Course consists of 1 Full day and 6 Evening Seminars, attendance at the Introductory Day is compulsory and no sub-cover is available. Reserve Places; Once all the available places have been taken, there will be only reserve places remaining - Please complete an application for your preferred Cohort but we will only contact if a place becomes available.
The School Development Service have increased the number of reserve places this year in order to gauge demand for the Programme and help faciliate the possibility of running future cohorts in this academic year, so please complete an application for your preferred Cohort.
